Ghost Light is a bold and haunting new musical that plunges into the fractured psyche of a former child star, once adored, now discarded, desperate to escape the only life she’s ever known. Trapped beneath the stage lights that once promised love and legacy, she must confront the brutal reality of an industry that consumed her before she ever had the chance to become herself.Inspired by the real-life experiences of performers like Jennette McCurdy, Amanda Bynes, Britney Spears, and Lindsay Lohan, Ghost Light also echoes the tragedies of Hollywood’s Golden Age, most notably Judy Garland, the tormented star of The Wizard of Oz. These were artists the world claimed to love, while quietly feeding on their vulnerability.

With original music and raw, unflinching storytelling, Ghost Light explores themes of identity, control, abuse, addiction, and the high cost of being turned into a product. It is a reckoning. A reclamation. And above all, a spotlight cast on the shadows just beyond the glitter.
