About:

Directing Unfiltered is a mentoring initiative for young directors aged 18–30, led by a young director. It offers affordable, honest, and practical guidance for those finding their way in theatre and film — without the gatekeeping or the fluff.

Through one-to-one and group sessions, participants receive tailored support across six key areas: practical peer guidance, industry insight, applications and submissions, project consultation, directing and creative practice, and creative problem-solving. It’s a space for open conversation, real advice, and collaborative growth. Helping early & emerging directors build confidence, develop their craft, and move forward in their creative journeys.
